On 12 November 2025, Mr. Ing. Josef Herk, President of the Styrian Economic Chamber (WKO), visited the Research Center Smart Production at Graz University of Technology. Four institutes – IFT, IMAT, IIM and IMB – presented their research focuses, and opportunities for collaboration were explored, in particular how cooperation with the new Center of Excellence of WKO can be established. Follow-up meetings will be arranged for this purpose.
